Lateral and Entry Level Public Safety Communications Officer (911 Dispatcher)

The Police Division Communications Center is recruiting candidates for a full-time Communications Officer to fill one immediate opening. Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED. Lateral entry candidates must have at least one year experience as a public safety dispatcher in a law enforcement or fire agency. Entry level must have at least two years of experience involving substantial public contact and office clerical duties.
